I pray that this communication finds you well; especially in the aftermath of Hurricane Francine. We pray that everyone faired well and that those without electricity or other utilities will see restoration soon. Sunday Worship - Sunday, September 15, 2024
During the storm, the church lost power. When it was restored, we observed that only a portion of the building was receiving power while majority of the sanctuary is still without power & air. Entergy was notified and upon coming out notified us that we would need an electrician to come out. Due to high demand, an electrician cannot come to us until next week. As such, out of an abundance of caution, this Sunday’s service has been moved to VIRTUAL ONLY! Pastor will stream a message at 8:45AM CST to all of our church platforms. Please tune in and remember to support the ministry financially even though we will not be in the building. As of now, Pastor is still scheduled to preach at Hopeful Triumph Baptist Church this Sunday @ 9:30AM. The church address is 38584 Highway 22, Darrow, Louisiana.
HURRICANE RELIEF EFFORTS
There are many in our immediate & surrounding areas that have been negatively impacted by Hurricane Francine! Pastor wants to be a blessing where we can. In the coming week, we will be launching efforts to visit some of the heavily devastated areas and provide food and other toiletries. We ask that those who are willing and able, please consider giving a financial offering towards these efforts. All monies would go towards the purchase of food & other items we want to give away. If you desire to give, we ask that you would ensure that you place in the Memo or Subject Line of Cashapp or Tithely “Hurricane Relief!” Remember, it’s their time now but it could be ours next!
